About Charbagh Railway Station
Charbagh railway station of Lucknow is one of the most beautiful railway stations in the country. Charbagh railway station was earlier called Chahar Bagh in the Persian language. Like Nawab Asafuddaulah’s favorite Aishbagh, Charbagh was also very much liked by him, but when the British captured Awadh and banished the Nawab from here, then the British laid the foundation of Charbagh railway station. The foundation of Charbagh Railway Station was laid in 1914. It was built at the cost of around 60 to 70 lakhs.
