About Janeshwar Mishra Park :

Janeshwar Mishra Park is an urban park in the Gomti Nagar of Lucknow, created in memory of the late politician Janeshwar Mishra. It is said to be Asia’s most extensive garden, opened to the public in 2014. This eco-friendly park provides a sustainable habitat for various species of birds developed, conceptualized, and designed by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) as a multi-functional environmental and recreational green space. It also acts as a major entertainment and recreational center for society. The aim is to enhance and improve the ecological balance and help restore sensitive habitats for many organisms like birds, fishes, amphibians, small animals, and insects.
